Alliston Potato Festival & Firefighters Association Announce Inaugural APF Vintage Firetruck Show
Alliston, ON – The Alliston Potato Festival (APF), in collaboration with the Alliston Firefighters Association (AFFA), is thrilled to announce the first-ever APF Vintage Firetruck Show on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This exciting new event promises a spectacular showcase of historic fire trucks and emergency service vehicles, celebrating the rich history of fire services and first responders in our community.
With space limited to just 50 registered vehicles, participants are encouraged to secure their spot early. Eligible vehicles must be older than 1990, making this an exclusive gathering of classic and well-preserved emergency vehicles.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Beatties Distillers, we have increased our cash and gift card prize pool to $1,500, which will be split among several category winners.
Attendees can also enjoy a series of day-long events hosted by the APF and AFFA, including firefighting skill challenges where participants can test their abilities and compete for prizes. Be sure to meet Sparky and Tater Tim—challenge them to a skill game and see if you have what it takes to beat these festival favorites!
The Alliston Potato Festival has long been one of the town’s most anticipated annual events, drawing large crowds and fostering community spirit. The addition of the APF Vintage Firetruck Show is expected to further elevate this tradition, with hopes of making it a permanent annual feature in the years to come.
To mark this special occasion, attendees can purchase an inaugural event T-shirt, a perfect keepsake for participants and visitors alike.
Interested vehicle owners must complete the registration form by May 1, 2025 to secure a spot in this unique showcase.
