Get Ready for the 2025 Alliston Potato Festival Parade!
Exciting news for parade enthusiasts and community supporters—the Alliston Potato Festival (APF) Parade registration forms are now available! This much-anticipated event, organized by the Rotary Club of Alliston, will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2025, to officially kick off the festival weekend.
The 2025 Alliston Potato Festival will run from August 8 to August 10, bringing three days of fun, entertainment, and community spirit to the region. The parade is always a highlight, drawing spectators and participants from across the area. Whether you were part of the festivities in 2024 or are joining us for the first time, we can’t wait to see you there!
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, the number of parade entries is limited to 65. If you’re interested in being part of this exciting tradition, be sure to submit your application early. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 1, 2025, or sooner if the maximum number of entries is reached. Please note that late applications will not be accepted due to insurance and security requirements.
Parade participants must be ready for assembly no later than 5:45 PM on August 8. The parade will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, starting from Banting Memorial High School (203 Victoria Street East, Alliston). From there, it will proceed west along Victoria Street to Ontario Street, before heading south on Ontario Street to Nelson Street.
