The baby show is one of the most popular events at the Alliston Potato Festival, and with good reason. All the cutest babies from miles around New Tecumseth show off their chubby cheeks and breathtaking smiles. This year we have decided our theme for the show is our Baby Potato Farmer. We want to see what our future farmer is going to look like. So get your best garb out and come dress for the occasion
The baby show happens at the fairgrounds on Sunday August 7, 2022, at 10am. The entry fee is $10 per baby and if pre-register before August 1 2022, this will include one free day pass to the Festival. Registration will open on July 15th, 2022 and will continue through the weekend till 5pm on Saturday August 6 2022. All registered babies and guardians should check in between 9:00 and 9:45am on Sunday August 7 at the pavilion on the Fairgrounds.
The class categories are 0 to 3 months, 4 to 9 months, 10 to 18 months and this year we are also adding a 2 year old class for the pre covid babies who missed out on the contest in 2020 due to the pandemic. Each category will be limited to 20 babies each.
The judges will be looking that following and award a baby in each class
· Best Theme Dress Baby in each category
· Cutest baby of all the babies
· Fussiest Baby because we should award parents who have fatigue
· Sleepiest Baby
